What is Agriculture?

Agriculture is the science and art of cultivating the soil, growing crops and plants and raising livestock for food, human requirements and economic gain. An agriculture career includes farming, dairying, harvesting agricultural, aquacultural, floricultural and horticultural commodities, animal husbandry and other farming practices. Agriculture is practiced for producing clothing, shelter, medicines, weapons and other products of human use and economic gain.
