What is Marketing Management?

Marketing Management is the organizational discipline focusing on the practical application of marketing orientation and techniques for the management of a firm’s marketing resources and activities. Marketing Management identifies market opportunities and devises appropriate strategies for exploring those opportunities profitably. Focus is laid on planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion and distribution of goods and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational goals and the effectiveness of marketing practices are continuously evaluated.
