Get Set Parent with Pallavi (GSP), which is one of the fastest growing parenting channels on YouTube, has launched a baby sensory stimulation kit called the ‘Brainy Bear Box’. The Box has been curated with the experience and expertise of GSP’s founder Dr Pallavi Rao Chaturvedi with an aim to help new parents with interactive and skill enhancement based activities required to develop their baby’s brain during the first year of life. The Brainy Bear Box is a complete one stop early stimulation kit specially designed for babies and infants in compliance with Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) as prescribed by the United Nations & the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The recently drafted NEP 2020 focuses on ECCE to attain the optimal outcomes in the domain of physical and motor development, cognitive development, socio-emotional-ethical development as well as the development of communication, early language, literacy and numeracy to ensure that all students entering Grade 1 are school ready. The Brainy Bear Box has been manufactured keeping NEP 2020 and ECCE in mind. The box comprises of 10 activities that are aimed at helping children from 0-1 year of age enhance their focus & concentration, visual, tactile, auditory & sensory stimulation, cognitive skills & imagination, hand & eye co-ordination, fine motor skills and so on.

The kit has been developed under the expert guidance of Dr Chaturvedi, who is also the Vice President of the Early Childhood Association. She is a well-established Parenting Coach and the Founder of Brainy Bear Preschools, one of India’s fastest growing preschool and activity club chain. Regarding the newly launched baby sensory stimulation kit, Dr Chaturvedi said, “The early phases in a child’s life, especially the first 12 months, play a crucial role in both physical and mental development. The Box, available for sale on Amazon India website, has been developed and manufactured in India by local craftsmen. Majority of the items in the kit are made of wood and cloth, which are children friendly and non-toxic.
