Due to severe effects of Covid 19 the government has declared lockdown all over the country, so that all the schools and colleges are shut till further notice. This outbreak of Covid 19 has affected the education sector critically as all the important exams are cancelled or postponed until this situation gets over. Due to this, class 12 board exams have been postponed till the lockdown gets over.

The National Test Agency (NTA) has declared to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The NEET test scheduled for May 3, 2020 has now been postponed till the last week of May. The admit cards will not be released to students till the exact dates are announced by the authorities. 

This pandemic has resulted in a very bad way in student’s studies. The qualified candidates of NEET PG 2020 are scared because their counselling gets delayed which may affect a lot of confusion and impact in medical education, as the doctors who are ready to serve hospitals are confused whether they should join or not. Another drawback of staying home means a student can’t go out for their coaching classes in this case they need to take the help of online portals giving online classes and mock test papers to medical students. 

Gaurav Tyagi, Founder of Career Xpert said, “Of course there’s an adverse effect of Covid19 on everything but it has also resulted in NEET UG Exams and NEET PG Counselling. The dates have been postponed till the last week of May. All the medical aspirants in my contacts are confused and scared because there has been no exact date given to them for exams but, I think an exam can be conducted any day. It’s the most precious time for these students to prepare more now. If the students are done with preparation, they can revise their NCERT course twice or thrice till the exam date. I would suggest all NEET aspirants who are looking for a PG course in MS, MD, DNB and UG course in BDS and MBBS in this 2020 session are not to worry as per the norms. Due to lockdown things get delayed but not cancelled. So, keep on checking the official website which will provide you correct and proper information. I just want to give this message to all students just keep yourself calm and study NCERT as most of the questions are from there only. I hope until then just be at home and stay safe.”
