On February 24, the Economic Times Best Education Brands felicitated the leading educational institutions in all genres across the country, that are transforming the educational landscape of India. The institutions are recognised for their contribution in creating an environment to foster the young minds to be ready for a dynamic future.
In addition to unveiling the elite list of brands, the event, which was hosted at Taj Palace, New Delhi, also witnessed the launch of the first ever coffee table book listing the recognised educational brands. This book was a gesture of appreciation to all the leading educationists and academicians who are not just keeping pace with the international education standards, but also making significant contributions to make India a truly global educational hub.

Gracing the event were some eminent speakers from the education industry. Professor V. Ramgopal Rao, director IIT Delhi, shared his insights on the changing trends of education. Talking about the event, Manish Sisodia, one of the keynote speakers said, “The challenge is that we don’t understand if we are to educate someone or develop them as a person. Often, during the education process, we don’t know if we are to plan job oriented courses to prepare our youth for better jobs or whether we need to also drive the creation of a new wave of entrepreneurs for a better India. Both are equally important, and skilling our youth so that they get fulfilling jobs is a need of the hour.”
